- Conductor material and class: Class 1 annealed copper (wire)
- Insulation material: PE mixture type III, class B, group 4 or 5 and type E8, according to ASTM D - 1248 standard
- Identification of strings: The two strings are intertwined according to the standard color scheme and form a pair. The pairs are then twisted together and a layer of polyester tape is placed longitudinally or transversely to increase the insulation resistance.
- Shield: A layer of aluminum foil longitudinally or transversely shielded in contact with a single strand of plain copper or tin.
- Coating material: PE mix type III, class C, group 4 or 5 and type J3, according to ASTM D-1248 standard
